Transport desk
Cab booking
The transport desk publishes cab categories and rates. Guests book from the stay screen. Vendors and drivers work from their own partner logins, separate from hotel staff.
Hotel staff publish the rates the room is allowed to book: an airport sedan, a city hourly hire, an outstation car. The guest books from the stay screen with a pickup time. The trip can then move to the transport vendor and the driver, who sign in on partner accounts and never see the rest of the hotel desks.

On the desk
- Set airport, hourly, and outstation rates.
- Receive cab bookings with destination and timing.
- See which room asked, so the car is sent to the right porch.
- Hand the trip to the vendor and driver accounts.
On the stay screen
- Categories and prices the desk has published.
- A book action for the ride they need.
- A pickup time on the request, not a blank note to the bell desk.
- Status once the desk accepts the booking.
How this desk runs
- 01
Publish the rates
Each category has a name and a rate: a fixed airport fare, an hourly hire, or a per-kilometre outstation car.
- 02
Guest books the car
They pick a category and a time. The booking stays on their stay, with the room number attached.
- 03
Desk accepts
Accept tells the guest the hotel has the trip. The stay screen shows that status.
- 04
Partner runs it
The vendor and the assigned driver work from their own logins. They see the trip, not the guest's other requests.
